Imani created and produced Michigan Radio’s first podcast, Morningside 48224. Imani hosted a series of enlightening conversations with 19 artists to make Subject Matters in collaboration with Kresge Arts in Detroit and Red Bull Arts.

Imani wrote, narrated and hosted Showing Up Showing Out, a film about the past, present, and future of Motown in collaboration with Carhartt WIP, Dazed, and NTS Radio. Her debut feature film script, In Case of Apocalypse, earned her a Rainin Grant from SFFilm.
